Simply enter the sticker menu, however, instead of tapping on the sticker option at the bottom, tap on the GIF option instead. In case you don’t want to take much effort for adding a separate sticker pack, you cannot go wrong with a funny, creative GIF.
You just need to add it to your account and you’ll see them in your stickers section. The app had its own library of WhatsApp strikers themed for 2022 New Year’s. On Android, the best one was also the first option on the list named ‘New year Stickers for WhatsApp’ by Awesome things. Download the one you like and it should reflect in your stickers section. This will take you to Google Play Store or Apple App Store (depending on your smartphone, obviously) and here, just search for happy new year next to the WASticker in the search box. However, you need to tap on ‘Discover Sticker Apps’. Once here, you’ll need to tap the ‘+’ symbol, where it’ll show you a bunch of stickers.
Here, look for another symbol that looks like a sticker at the bottom on both iOS and Android. On WhatsApp, you first need to look for a sticker symbol - on iOS it’s on the right corner of the text box and on Android it’s the Emoji smiley to the left of the text box.
